Wedding Day Shoes

Planning for a wedding can be quite complex and stressful, so finding options available to make at least once small piece of it easier and even a little but fun is important.  For many people getting the perfect wedding shoes can be just that.  Unlike many other things you have to think about, most of the time you can choose the type of shoes you want without causing any major drama or other problems with the rest of the planning.  In addition, there are so many different options available that it can be fun to plan what you’ll be wearing.

Whether you are the bride or a bridesmaid or have some other role in the wedding, you want to make sure your shoes fit properly so you can be as comfortable as possible.  Of course, looking great is also critical so make sure to find the perfect balance. One popular option today is to choose a beautiful pair of white shoes and then have them dyed a specific color that has some special meaning to you.

The Bride

Some brides, for example, will have their shoes dyed a shade of blue (something borrowed…Something blue..) or even embellish their shoes with ‘bling’ or other vintage options.  Another great option is to have your shoes dyed to match the color of the bridesmaid dresses for a real sense of conformity throughout your wedding party.  Of course, there are many other options to consider and the main trend of the day for the bride’s shoes is that she can do pretty much whatever she wants!

Whether your shoes will be hidden under your dress or completely visible, you really have a lot of different options available to you.  There are dozens of different styles of shoes on the market today which can be worn as-is, dyed to any color or even customized to be fun and exciting.  Shoe shopping is something most every woman enjoys, and as the bride you have the perfect excuse to choose any shoe you want.  So take your time and have a great time picking the perfect shoes for your perfect day.

In many wedding parties the bride today is allowing her bridesmaids to choose whichever shoes she is most

comfortable in.  As long as they are white shoes it is possible to dye them to match the rest of the bridal party.  Of course, it is impossible to dye shoes to perfectly match any specific color in every type of light, but it is typically close enough that nobody even notices.   This also lets the bridesmaids take a more active role in your wedding while removing some of the stress which normally falls on the bride.

Since every woman’s feet are a little different, it really makes sense to allow them to pick the specific shoe so they can be most comfortable.  Other than the bride and groom, the bridesmaids will be on their feet more than anyone else in the ceremony so it is the kind thing to let them at least have shoes that won’t be hurting them.
