You could be on the cover of the next Southern Maryland Wedding Guide digital magazine!

It's that time of year again! Time for us to select the Cover Picture for the 2009 Summer/Fall Edition of our next digital magazine! Start spreading the word, we're looking for entries.

It doesn't matter if your wedding has already passed - but the deadline for entries into for our cover picture contest is June 12, 2009. Our panel of judges will post the finalists on our website and let visitors take a vote to help us decide on the cover picture they think we should use.

YES - If you have entered in the past you can enter again! Just send an email to info@somdweddings.com and make sure we still have your photograph on file!

The winner will be notified that their picture is the winner and they will be featured on the next magazine cover!

Winners will receive a poster of the new magazine cover, 25 skybox tickets
to an upcoming Blue Crabs game, restaurant gift certificate for two,
along with some other cool prizes!

Here's how you can enter!

• Send up to two (2) DIGITAL wedding pictures from your wedding that took place in the southern Maryland area (Charles, Prince Georges, St. Mary's, Anne Arundel, and Calvert Counties) by June 12, 2009 along with a signed original copy of our photography release (complete the form below to receive one).
  
• Pictures must be a COLOR vertical shot of the Bride and Groom. (Original pictures or high resolution digital images accepted)
  
• Include the name of the bride and groom, the wedding date, the location of the ceremony, and your telephone number on the CD-Rom.

• You can email lower resolution versions to info@somdweddings.com by 6/12/09 but we must receive high resolution images on CD-rom at the address above. (High resolution images are needed for printing our magazine.)
  WE WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR E-MAIL ENTRIES WITHOUT A SIGNED PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE AND YOU MUST COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW TO RECEIVE ONE.

*No entries will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2009. Participants must be prepared to present a copy of marriage license.CDs will not be returned. The Southern Maryland Wedding Guide takes no responsibility for photos lost in the mail. A minimum of 9 photo entries is required to hold contest. In the event enough entries are not received, we reserve the right to select the photo for the cover.

Then, from June 22 to June 26, 2009, we'll post all photo entries on the SoMdWeddings.com website to allow our website visitors to vote (only one vote per household) on the picture they think we should use on the cover of our second digital edition. We'll tally the votes and choose our winner!
