It’s a pretty safe bet that this is the largest party you’ve even planned — as well as being one of the biggest events in your life thus far. Before you get so stressed out by wedding planning that you become a “bridezilla,” consider these ideas for managing your pre-wedding stress:

  • Take a break: go out to dinner, see a movie, spend the day at the spa
  • Accept help and delegate tasks
  • Exercise, even if you just take a quick walk around the block
  • Do some breathing exercises — slow, deep breaths will calm you
  • Stay healthy — exercise, eat well, and get enough sleep
  • Do something not related to wedding planning
