We’ve all got at least one bridesmaid dress in our closets — you know, the expensive dress you wore for your friend’s wedding but will never wear again. I saw a tip from Ideal Bite the other day about recycling or donating bridesmaid dresses. One organization will give your dress to women in Afghanistan and Kenya for reuse. (The group will also send you a coupon to use in their store.) Or, donate your dress to The Priceless Gown Project, a Baltimore-based organization that helps girls who can’t afford a prom dress get one.
What a beautiful way to recycle!
