Real SoMd Wedding: Winter Blues and Whites at Olde Breton Inn

St. Mary’s County natives Jessica and Jonathan knew they wanted to marry at home even though they were moving to North Carolina. They planned a winter wonderland theme for their Dec. 28, 2012, wedding, choosing crisp blue and silver to match the colors on the dress blues Jonathan, a Marine, would wear on the big day. They used the colors throughout their décor at the beautiful Olde Breton Inn in Leonardtown, accenting with twinkle lights and bits of garland. Small pieces of sparkling crystal and glass dangled from silver trees, giving guests the feeling of falling snow. Putting the finishing touches on the décor was a family affair; Jessica’s mom finished the centerpieces and Jessica’s veil while she was in North Carolina to welcome her Marine home from deployment.
