The centerpiece of Crystal and Tim’s Sept. 6, 2014, wedding was family. Every decision they made was done with their friends and family in mind – it was important to them that everyone enjoyed the day!
But the nods to their family didn’t stop there. Crystal wore her grandmother’s wedding dress, which was first worn in August 1965. Just a few alterations were made to the gown; it was otherwise perfect. Inside the dress was sewn her “something blue”: A heart-shaped patch made from one of her late grandfather’s denim shirts. Close cousins played special roles in the ceremony, and Crystal and Tim even made sure the kids were happy, packing activity kits with juice, Goldfish crackers, and a coloring to keep them busy during the ceremony.
After their ceremony at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department, Crystal and Tim headed to nearby Greenwell State Park for photos with Photography by Steve & Jane.
