Real SoMd Wedding: A Relaxed Rustic Celebration Handmade by the Bride and Groom

When Christy and Glenn married in Leonardtown in May 2013, they wanted a relaxed, rustic celebration with lots of personal touches. They did much of the work themselves: Making signs and a bar out of old barn wood and arranging flowers in Mason jars. They wrote their menu and guest book instructions on chalk boards, and encouraged guests to change into flip flop “party shoes” for the reception. The couple themselves even got comfortable, wearing custom Converse sneakers for the reception.
