Many hands came together to make Trinity and Nick’s wedding day. They chose Woodlawn Estate in Ridge as the location for their June 14, 2014 wedding – the couple loved the water, trees, wheat, flowers, and gorgeous home. A Southern Maryland native, Trinity told us Woodlawn embodied many of the things she and Nick love about the region.
From there, planning their wedding day was a family affair. Trinity’s mother served as wedding coordinator, finding old tobacco baskets, crab pots, candy and Mason jars, milk jugs, crates, and more. Her father made decorations, using his carpentry skills to create the ring bearer box, a carved tree stump, and cake stands, and centerpieces. He also made a cart for the gifts and several tables and chalkboard frames. The tree used for Trinity and Nick’s guestbook was drawn by Nick’s brother and niece. Family and close friends came the day of the wedding to help set up for the big day.
“Lots of love went into our wedding,” Trinity told us, “and we are so fortunate.”
