St. Mary’s County residents Rebecca and Tristan live near and love the Chesapeake Bay, and they wanted to celebrate it when they married on May 21, 2011. The waterfront Anchor Inn in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County, was a natural choice, and using seashells and shades of aqua and coral, they planned a true “Seaside Romance” wedding.
Every aspect of Rebecca and Tristan’s wedding was designed to complement the water. The bridesmaids wore aqua blue gowns and carried bouquets of white, coral, and light blue flowers. Rebecca wore tiny starfish in her hair. The men’s attire fit the theme, too: The groom and his attendants wore seersucker jackets, coral ties, and boat shoes. The wedding cake was topped with white chocolate seashells, and shells were incorporated into the flowers as well. And, of course there was a special dessert for the groom, too: A cake shaped like the Baltimore Ravens’ logo!
