REAL MD WEDDING: The Ultimate DIY Wedding

Kayleigh and Nick paired a vibrant color scheme with their handmade June 8, 2013, wedding: Violet purple, teal, and royal blue accented by black and gray. They decorated the ceremony and reception space with burlap and glassware, and used fun, handmade signs to tell their guests what they needed to know. They played their favorite songs throughout the day, including “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles for the bride’s entrance; a goofy lip-sync to Taylor Swift’s “Love Song” for the bridal party entrance at the reception; and “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” by Thompson Square for their first dance.
