It used to be that the bride and her mother planned the whole wedding with little involvement from the groom. They let him know when and where to show up and handed him a tux. Not so anymore. Most of us couldn’t imagine planning this special day without input from our other half and most men want to be involved; it is, after all, his wedding day, too. When we were planning our wedding, my husband could have cared less about the flowers, the bridesmaids’ dresses and the colors we used. I spared him those details. Those were the kinds of things I loved. He cared greatly, though, about the music, location and photography. We made those decisions together.
