We told you about The Priceless Gown Project more than a year ago, and now the Baltimore-based organization has some news: it’s coming to D.C.! The goal of the five-year-old non-profit is to recycle unwanted prom and bridesmaid dresses by giving them to high school students who might not otherwise be able to afford a prom dress. Shopping boutiques are held every year; each girl looking for a gown gets a personal shopper to help her find the perfect dress. About 500 (!) gowns were given away at the March 2009 boutique.
