::Event Design | A Vintage Chic Affair::

Hello all! We are TreBella Events – a full service Wedding & Event Planning Company located right in Southern Maryland.  Many clients come to us for Wedding Planning, but we also offer Wedding & Event Design Services.  Aside from getting our fabulous brides down the aisle stress free, our next greatest passion is making the wedding event amazingly beautiful.  We have won tabletop design competitions and been featured in national and local online blogs.  We must say, it has brought us great pride and joy to be featured as Southern Maryland Weddings’ Event Design Specialist!  We will be posting design tips, trends, and inspiration regularly.  Stay tuned and be inspired!

As our first post, we would love to introduce you to a very special couple – Jenna and Paul Tackish!  This was such a fun loving couple!  They were married on May 11, 2013 at Historic St. Mary’s City.  Being a fire fighter, the only place true to their hearts to host the reception was a fire department.  Their reception was held at the Bay District VFD.

Wedding Theme::   Jenna knew from our very first meeting that she wanted a “Vintage Style” wedding with lots of lace and lots of detail!

Colors::  Rose {Pink} | Ivory | Silver | Gold

Ceremony Elements::    Jenna and Paul were wed on the lawn of  the beautiful State House at Historic St. Mary’s City (across from St. Mary’s College of Maryland).  This is such a picturesque site, as it overlooks the St. Mary’s River and hosts beautifully manicured lawns.  Jenna envisioned a simple and elegant ceremony.  Her mother provided mason jars filled with pink roses and greenery which hung from shepherd’s hooks along the aisle.

We added to the Vintage look with a beautiful archway detailed with iron scroll-work.  The archway was accented with fabric and display of  pink roses to add a delicate touch.  Two stately shrubs framed the archway and completed the design.

Reception Elements::

Jenna wanted lace, pink, lace, vintage decor, lace.  Did I say “lace”? :o)  Lace certainly made this Bride smile.  We incorporated lace overlays over silver and champagne colored linens.  This added texture to the tabelscape.  The menu cards and table numbers were printed on ivory paper and accented with pink floral card stock.  There were several centerpiece designs that incorporated similar elements so that the overall design flowed smoothly.  They were as follows:

mixture of pink and ivory roses | gold and/or silver accents such as a picture frame or candle holder | lace | pearls | birdcage
