Wedding color trends change each season, and for spring 2017, these four colors are popular with wedding-planning couples. Will you work them into your wedding décor?
Greenery is Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year, so it’s no surprise that this fresh spring color makes the list. A symbol of new growth and new life, green is the perfect color for spring weddings! All shades are popular, from Greenery to Kelly green to lime green to mint. Pair with white or any flower color for a clean, spring-y color palette.
Pink is always in, but for the last couple of years, the preferred shade has been soft blush pink. It’s an ideal color if you want to wear a color other than white or ivory, and it pairs well with a variety of other colors, from mint green to gold to gray.
What’s the hottest neutral? Gray! It is gorgeous with soft blush pink and rich mauve. Use lighter gray for spring and summer weddings, and pair dark gray with red or cranberry for fall and winter weddings. Plus, you can dress your groomsmen and/or your bridesmaids in gray and accessorize with your other colors.
A different metallic seems to be hot every year, and this year it is gold’s turn! It’s lovely with bright coral and navy, but it also pairs well with mint green or Christmas colors burgundy and green. Gold is pretty alongside blush, another hot color this season, and we think you’ll love it with all kinds of blue, too.
